What Should Be Avoided
Audio-only prerecorded media, without a transcript:

WCAG SC 1.2.1 focuses on ensuring accessibility for prerecorded audio-only and video-only content on websites. It requires providing alternative methods for conveying information to accommodate users with various disabilities.
The main objective of WCAG Success Criterion 1.2.1 is to provide alternative methods for conveying information in prerecorded audio-only and video-only content, ensuring equivalent access for all users.
Audio and Transcript Placement: Ensure the audio track and the transcript, or a link to it with a proper description, are positioned next to the video-only content. If the transcript is placed in a different area such as a pop-up or a separate page, provide a link with a description for easy access.
Silent Video Accessibility: For silent videos (video-only), offer either a text transcript or an audio track to ensure accessibility.
Exception for Audio Tracks: If an audio track is provided for a video, a text transcript may not be required, but it's recommended for comprehensive accessibility.
