Making the web work for everyone

Learn why we built tabnav, what keeps us going, and why the clients who use us never go back. Accessibility is personal for us.

We show up where the web is built — sharing what we know about accessibility and learning from the people who care most about getting it right.

Our mission

Over a billion people live with some form of disability. For most of the web, they don't exist as real users — they exist as an afterthought, if they exist at all.

They risk exclusion every day — from websites that break with a keyboard, forms that screen readers can't navigate, contrast that makes content unreadable.

But inaccessible websites aren't inevitable. They're a solvable problem. And businesses shouldn't need a legal threat to solve it.

tabnav exists to change that. Not with jargon and compliance audits that sit in a drawer. With real tools that make accessibility the easiest path — for everyone building for the web.

Our team

Faces behind the fixes

Real people, questionable coffee habits, and one shared mission: making the web work for everyone.

Team member"My keyboard finally works on every site we build."

Team member"I can finally tell our users we actually care — and mean it."
Team member"We went from zero compliance to certified in three weeks."

What drives us

We build for the people who depend on the web the most — and too often get left out of it.

Behind every inaccessible website is a real person who can't book an appointment, read the news, or complete a purchase. That's not a statistic to us — it's the reason we come to work.

We donate our services to nonprofits, contribute to open-source tools, and give away six free products — because accessibility shouldn't only be for those who can afford an agency.

Our team includes people with disabilities and developers who've watched accessibility get cut from launch one too many times. We're not building compliance software. We're building something we actually needed.

How it works

Three steps to a site that works for everyone

No long onboarding, no confusing process. We go from where you are to fully compliant — and keep you there.

Discovery

We meet, we listen, we audit

We start with a real conversation — not a sales call. We learn your site, your stack, your deadlines. Then we run a full automated + manual audit so we know exactly what needs fixing before we touch anything.

Remediation

We fix it — properly

Our accessibility experts get to work. Automated widget, manual code fixes, or both — depending on your plan. You get progress updates, not silence. Average delivery: 21 days.

Long-term monitoring

We keep you compliant

Your site changes, standards evolve, new issues appear. Our continuous monitoring watches 24/7, flags regressions before they become legal risks, and keeps your compliance status green.

For the community

Accessibility should be
free to start

We believe anyone can begin improving accessibility — regardless of budget, team size, or technical skill. That's why we built six free tools and made them available to everyone. No account needed. Start where you are.

Accessibility Widget

Because every visitor deserves a site that works for them. One line of code gives your users control over contrast, text size, spacing, and more — instantly.

Accessibility Checker

Because you can't fix what you can't see. Scan any URL for WCAG issues in seconds and get a plain-language report of exactly what to address.

Accessibility Monitoring

Because your site changes and standards evolve. Get automatic alerts when new issues appear — before they become complaints or legal risks.

Contrast Checker

Because color choices that look fine to you may be invisible to others. Check any two colors against WCAG AA and AAA ratios instantly.

Links Checker

Because "click here" tells a screen reader user nothing. Find broken, empty, or non-descriptive links that quietly break the experience for millions.

Image Checker

Because images without alt text are invisible to screen readers. Detect every missing description across your entire site in one scan.
