Company
Tabnav is built for any organization that owns a public-facing website: e-commerce stores, SaaS companies, agencies, education, government, healthcare, finance and non-profits. Whether you have one site or hundreds, our plans scale with you.
We help our customers align with WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 (levels A and AA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the European Accessibility Act (EAA), Section 508, AODA, UK Equality Act and other regional accessibility regulations.
Yes. Every customer gets access to our support team, and paid plans include onboarding and a dedicated account manager. For enterprise customers we offer 24/7 support, SLAs and white-label options. Contact us to discuss your needs.
A widget alone is not full compliance. Tabnav combines the widget with continuous monitoring, manual remediation by certified specialists, expert audits and PDF remediation — covering both visitor experience and the underlying code. That is what regulators expect to see, and what genuinely makes a website usable for everyone.
Accessibility Widget
Yes, subdomains can be included depending on the subdomain setup. Contact Tabnav Sales to learn more.
Yes. Our support team can help configure the widget as a static button. Visitors using assistive technologies will still be notified that Tabnav is available and can open the accessibility menu with a keyboard shortcut.
Yes. The widget is fully customizable, including colors, icon, position and trigger size, so it can match your brand design.
The Free version includes basic accessibility tools, but it does not include important features for users who rely on screen readers and assistive technologies. It is a good starting point, but not a complete solution for meeting legal accessibility guidelines. The Paid version unlocks the full assistive technology profiles, monthly scans, accessibility statement and feedback form.
Installation usually takes less than two minutes — paste a single JavaScript snippet into the <head> of your site and the widget activates immediately.
Yes. The widget is a lightweight JavaScript snippet that works on any platform — WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace, Magento, custom builds, headless front-ends and SPAs. We provide platform-specific installation guides and support during setup.
Accessibility Monitoring
Monitoring crawls your entire site and tests every page against WCAG 2.2 success criteria — including missing alt text, color contrast, keyboard traps, ARIA misuse, heading order, form labels, focus order and more. You get a clear report with the exact rule, location, code snippet and recommended fix.
Free plan scans once a month. Paid plans scan weekly, daily or on-demand depending on the tier. Enterprise customers can configure custom schedules and run manual scans whenever they ship a new release.
Yes. You can add multiple domains and subdomains to a single account and view them in one dashboard. Pricing scales with the number of pages crawled. See monitoring pricing.
Yes. Every issue includes the affected element, the failing WCAG criterion, a code snippet, a suggested fix and a link to detailed remediation guidance. Reports can be exported to CSV, PDF or sent straight into Jira, Linear or GitHub.
No. Monitoring runs from our infrastructure, not from your visitors' browsers. There is no script and no impact on page speed, Core Web Vitals or SEO.
Manual Remediation
Most websites are completed within 21 business days from kickoff. Large multi-page sites or sites with complex applications may take longer — we share a clear timeline after the initial scan.
No. We fix web accessibility issues through one lightweight script, without changing your design or accessing your codebase. Our team scans, remediates, tests and validates the work — your developers do not need to lift a finger.
All remediation work is done to WCAG 2.2 level AA, which covers ADA, EAA and Section 508. We can target WCAG 2.1 AA on request for legacy compliance workflows.
Yes. Every Manual Remediation engagement includes a signed accessibility statement and a VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) so you can answer procurement questions, RFPs and government tenders with confidence.
We keep monitoring your site continuously and re-test it on a yearly cycle so it stays compliant as content and code change. Any new issues we detect are remediated as part of the ongoing plan.
Manual Audit
An automated scan catches around 30 percent of WCAG issues — mostly code-level problems. A manual audit is performed by certified accessibility experts using assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnifiers) to evaluate real user experience, complex interactions, dynamic content and judgment-based criteria that automated tools cannot evaluate.
Standard audits are delivered within 21 business days, including a live walkthrough of the findings. Larger or more complex sites may take longer — we agree the timeline and scope before we start.
You receive an executive summary, a full WCAG 2.2 conformance report, prioritized findings (critical → minor), code-level recommendations, screenshots and screen reader recordings where helpful, plus a live walkthrough with your team.
Yes. If you want a turn-key solution, our Manual Remediation service picks up where the audit ends — our team applies the fixes through a single lightweight script, no codebase changes required.
PDF Remediation
We deliver fully tagged, navigable, assistive-technology-ready PDFs — proper document structure, reading order, alt text on images, accessible tables, form fields with labels, language metadata and bookmarks. The output conforms to PDF/UA and WCAG 2.2 AA.
Standard turnaround is 5 to 7 business days per document, depending on length and complexity. Rush delivery is available for urgent legal, government and procurement deadlines.
Yes. We remediate single documents up to large enterprise libraries — thousands of files for government agencies, universities and financial institutions. Volume plans and SLAs are available.
We can remediate PDFs that originated from Word, PowerPoint, InDesign or scanned documents. If you only have the source file, we can convert and remediate from there as well.
